Terms of Use

Sada — audio exploration. Last updated 21 September 2026.

Sada is made by Hakawati LLC, Muscat, Oman. These terms are the agreement between you and Hakawati LLC when you use the Sada app or website. By creating an account or using Sada, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Sada.

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Sada.
• Give us accurate details, and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person per account. Do not use someone else's account or pretend to be someone you are not.

Listening

The tours, maps and recordings on Sada are for your own personal use. Do not copy, download, re-publish or sell them, or use them to train software, without our written permission.

What you publish

When you record audio, add photos or build a tour or map on Sada, it stays yours. You give Hakawati LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, play, display, transcribe, translate and distribute it in Sada, and to use it to promote Sada. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it has already been shared or is kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to publish what you post, and the permission of anyone who can be heard or seen in it. If you create content for Sada under a separate written agreement with us, that agreement applies where it differs from these terms.

We may review content before or after it is published, including with automated tools, and we may decline or remove anything that breaks these terms.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is no place on Sada for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not publish anything, or behave in any way, that:

• is hateful, harassing, threatening, bullying or discriminatory;
• is sexually explicit, violent or graphic;
• is defamatory, deliberately misleading, or impersonates another person;
• records or reveals another person's private life without their consent;
• infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
• is spam, advertising, or an attempt to manipulate Sada;
• breaks the law of the Sultanate of Oman or the law where you are.

We remove content that breaks these rules, and we suspend or permanently remove the accounts of people who post it or who abuse other users, with or without warning.

Reporting and blocking

If you find something on Sada that breaks these rules, use Report on it in the app, or email us. We review every report and act on it within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where it is warranted, the user who posted it. You can also block another user, so that their content no longer reaches you. Blocking someone also tells us, so we can review their content.

Real places, your safety

Sada takes you to real places. You are responsible for your own safety and for the people with you. Obey the law and any rules, signs and staff at the places you visit, respect private property and opening hours, and never use Sada while driving. Locations, directions and other information in Sada may be incomplete or out of date. Stops, clues and routes are suggestions, not permission to enter anywhere.

Paid features

If Sada offers purchases or subscriptions, the price and what you get are shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Apple or Google through your store account, under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, which you can do in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Apple and Google

These terms are between you and Hakawati LLC only. Apple and Google are not parties to them and are not responsible for Sada or its content. If you downloaded Sada from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using Sada at any time, and delete your account in the app, under your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we are required to by law.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Sada running well, but it is provided as it is and as available, and we cannot promise it will always be accurate, uninterrupted or free of faults. To the extent the law allows, Hakawati LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your visits to the places Sada describes. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law of the Sultanate of Oman.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use Sada after a change means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. The courts of Muscat have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
