What Sada is

Sada is an audio companion for the places you walk. Open the map to hear what people have left around you, follow a guided walk that plays as you arrive at each stop, or record an echo of your own and leave it where it belongs.

Common questions

Why does Sada ask for my location?

To show what is near you and to pin your echoes to the right place. If you want a guided walk to play audio by itself while your phone is in your pocket, that needs "Always" permission — but you can decline it and still use Sada normally.

Nothing is playing on a walk.

Check that location permission is granted and that you are close enough to a stop. Audio on a walk starts when you arrive; everywhere else in Sada, audio only plays when you tap.

Can I use Sada without a signal?

Yes — download a walk before you set off and it will play offline.

How do I report something offensive?

Open the echo and choose Report. Tell us what is wrong with it. We review reports and remove anything that breaks our rules. You can also block someone so their echoes no longer reach you.

How do I delete an echo I left?

Open your profile, find the echo, and delete it. It is removed from the map straight away.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to your profile and choose to delete your account. This removes your account and the echoes you have published. If you cannot reach the app, email us and we will do it for you.

Which phones does Sada work on?

iPhones running iOS 15.5 or later, and Android phones running Android 11 or later.
